Privacy

A small site with a small data footprint.

FanBriefer is designed to be useful without asking you to create an account or surrender personal information.

What FanBriefer stores

The site saves one functional cookie, fanbriefer-locale, to remember whether you chose English or French. It does not contain your name, email address, or browsing history.

FanBriefer currently runs no first-party advertising or analytics and does not sell personal information.

Hosting and security logs

Like most websites, the hosting infrastructure may process limited technical data such as an IP address, browser type, requested page, and timestamp to deliver the site, prevent abuse, and diagnose failures.

External links

Stories link to publications and other primary sources. Those sites operate under their own privacy policies, and FanBriefer does not control their data practices.

Changes and questions

If analytics or advertising is introduced later, this page will be updated before those tools become part of the reader experience.
